CW acquires Canadian skein

The CW has acquired privileges to ''The L.A. Complex,'' Hollywood-set series created by Canada's Bell Media.''Complex,'' telling the storyline of six ambitious stars from different hometowns, premieres the very first of six episodes Tuesday in Canada on CTV and MuchMusic and can air around the CW this spring.Linda Schuyler and Stephen Stohn professional produce ''Complex'' for Epitome Pictures. Author and professional producer Martin Gero can also be pointing.Cassie Steele, an alum of ''Degrassi: The Following Generation'' (also from Epitome), stars within the series, with Jewel Staite (''Firefly'') also area of the ensemble.
